Rent negotiations finalized for KFAB
This year’s rent negotiations are now complete, and KFAB has agreed with the Tenants’ Association on an increase from 2025-01-01 by an average of 4.83%
– This year’s negotiations have been characterized by good tone and great understanding from both parties regarding needs and challenges; we have reached an agreement that is sustainable for the company, although we understand it may be perceived as challenging for our tenants, says Niklas Jensen.
-We are glad that we finished on time, so the increase doesn’t have to be implemented retroactively. Our tenants will see their new rent on the notices sent out in December for January’s rent.
In terms of housing rent, the rent will increase by 63.95 SEK/sqm per year.
For additional options, the price will increase by 4.83%, as well as for the premises.
Example:
A rent of 6,000 SEK for 60 sqm will increase by 320 SEK/month.
60 x 63.95 = 3,837 SEK/year
3,837/12 = 320 SEK/month
6,000 + 320 = 6,320 SEK/month in rent
Apartments with cold rent will have an increase of 31.70 SEK/sqm per year.
