Many people want flowers on the balcony, and if you choose to have window boxes, they must be placed on the inside of the railing. This is for safety reasons as the boxes can fall and cause serious injuries if they are placed outside. Do not shake rugs from the balcony as the dust can spread to your neighbors. They might be sitting on their balcony having coffee or have opened a window to ventilate, and they won’t appreciate having dust and lint come in.
Pests
It’s important not to feed the birds because rats and other pests are also attracted to seeds and breadcrumbs. And we want to avoid such animals in our residential areas.
Barbecuing
If you want to barbecue on the balcony, only electric grills are allowed. If you wish to barbecue in the yard, make sure to place the grill at least ten meters from all buildings. Of course, you may barbecue at the designated barbecue areas available in some of our residential areas. Read more about the rules on the barbecuing page. Remember to clean up after yourself to make it pleasant for the next person who wants to barbecue.
Satellite dish
To install a satellite dish on the balcony, you must first sign a written agreement with us at KFAB. You can then install a satellite dish at your own expense, but it is crucial to follow the industry’s regulations regarding fastenings and sealing of holes. All drilling in facade brick is prohibited. Remember that at least half of the dish must be inside the balcony railing.
