Heating
The normal temperature in a residence is about 20 degrees during the day and evening. At night, it is usually somewhat cooler. If you find it cold in your apartment, start by checking that no furniture is placed in front of the radiators, as they prevent the heat from spreading in the room. Ventilation
In your residence, there are several vents that let in fresh air. Clean the vents at least twice a year. Remember not to close the vents completely as circulation will be reduced, you may experience stale odors and an increased risk of moisture damage. You can check the ventilation yourself by holding a piece of paper in front of the vent. If the paper is drawn in, the ventilation is sufficient.
Waste management
Katrineholm municipality has mandatory food waste recycling. This means that all households must sort their food waste into a green bag for food waste. You can pick up green bags at our customer center. Sorting of other waste takes place in the residential areas where there are special recycling rooms. Remember to only throw away waste that the bins are intended for, otherwise recycling will not work.
