Home Insurance
As one of our residents, you should have home insurance. The insurance protects you financially if something happens to your home or belongings.
For example, if a fire starts, you can be compensated financially for clothing, furniture, and other items destroyed by the fire through home insurance. Similarly, if there is water damage in your apartment requiring extensive renovations, you won’t have to cover the cost yourself, as home insurance usually covers a large part of the cost. Most home insurances also include theft protection and legal protection.
Report damages as quickly as possible
If you suspect that your residence has water or moisture damage, it is important that you contact us as soon as possible because the damage can spread within the property, and mold can also form. The faster we can address the issue, the less likely we will need to break through walls and floors to repair the damage.
Personal Dishwasher and Washing Machine
If you want to install a personal dishwasher or washing machine, the installation must be carried out by an authorized firm. You can choose installation as an extra. You must not do the installation yourself, as the combination of water and electricity handled incorrectly can cause significant damage to both people and materials.
Problems with Pests
A solitary insect may enter the apartment, but if you notice several of the same kind, it may be a case of harmful insects. It is important that you contact our fault report directly if you suspect your residence is affected. We ensure that you receive assistance with the issue.
Fruit Flies
Fruit or flower flies are not classified as harmful insects, but they can still be annoying. If you encounter them, you can try mixing white wine vinegar with syrup in a glass or bowl, add a drop of dish soap, and leave the mixture out for a few days. This usually makes the flies disappear.
Smoke Alarms Must Be Installed in Every Apartment
Every apartment must have at least one smoke alarm. It is an inexpensive life insurance if a fire starts. If your residence lacks a smoke alarm, contact our fault report, and we will install one for you. As a tenant, you are responsible for ensuring the smoke alarm functions. When the battery is running low, the smoke alarm will emit short beeps.
Protect the Children
To protect children, it’s a good idea to secure your home. Ensure that all windows and balcony doors have child safety locks, use a stove guard on the stove, and install socket covers. Secure your shelves and heavy furniture to prevent the risk of them falling over on your child. Of course, store cleaning agents, chemicals, and medicines safely.
